Managing the Untermination of Employees
QSROnline has a feature in place for all Sonic locations that will terminate an employee if they have not clocked in within the last 16 days for at least 1 minute. If the employee clocks in for a full minute, then the termination date will be removed in the next file we receive. Since Sonic has daily polling, this means the employee will not appear in the scheduler until the next day. If you need the employee before the following day or cannot clock the employee in for 1 minute, please follow the steps below to restore the employee.
Accessing the Delivery Settings Page
In the Scheduler, hover over the Schedule Options icon at the bottom of the screen and select Edit Delivery Settings.
Unterminating an Employee
QSROnline recommends that employees are unterminated in the POS system by removing the termination date of the employee. QSROnline will update employee files daily as new POS system polling is received. If a termination date is received from the POS system, the steps below will work for the current date, but the employee will be terminated when a new POS system file is received.
Removing the Auto Termination for an Employee
- In the Scheduler, go to Scheduler Delivery Settings.
- Change the filter from active to All or Terminated.
- Find the employee who should be on the schedule. (If there is more than one name, please reference the employee ID field.)
- Click the Unterminate Button.
Once the Unterminate button is selected, the confirmation message lists the employee name and the date the employee will need to clock in again.
